Marcia Cross ("Desperate Housewives") exfiltrated at the Séries Mania festival: what happened?

Marcia Cross will unfortunately not keep a very good memory of her coming to France... The unforgettable interpreter of Bree Van de Kamp in the series Desperate Housewiveswas indeed exfiltrated from the Séries Mania festival, where she was invited to give a masterclass, because of protesters against the pension reform.

The American star could have been injured

The latter were indeed invited on the red carpet of the festival and the situation quickly degenerated. The CRS had to intervene and Marcia Cross, in full photocall, had to leave the scene. The demonstrators, who shouted anti-Macron slogans, threw objects and the American star could have been injured. According to AFP, a young woman was hit in the face and was taken care of by firefighters. As can be seen in videos posted on social networks, the scene was particularly violent.

Marcia Cross did not expect to live such a nightmare on the red carpet of the festival. The 60-year-old red-haired actress, who made her mark by playing the role of Bree Van de Kamp, a Republican American, very religious, and particularly authoritarian, had given, just before the tragedy, a masterclass at the auditorium of the New Century. In front of 1,400 fans, the star had also confided without filter on his fight against his cancer of the anus, in 2017.

After receiving a standing ovation, Marcia Cross planned to sign autographs on the festival's red carpet. Alas, his evening was ruined by these incidents... The actress, known throughout the world, was however the most anticipated guest of Series Mania. Let's hope she still wants to come back to France...
