One hundred thousand miles of spring breeze, one hundred thousand good news.

One hundred thousand miles of spring breeze, one hundred thousand good news.

[Explanation] The high-spirited singing in front of me is the Disabled Sunshine Art Troupe composed of 140 people from Changsha, Hunan.

Since its establishment in 2004, the troupe has participated in 48 large-scale free theatrical performances, with a cumulative audience of nearly 20,000 people.

The 61-year-old Yang Decai, the founder of the troupe, used to be a middle school teacher.

Due to a major traffic accident in 1997, he became a blind man who lost all light perception.

Since then, Yang Decai has worked hard to learn Braille, Chinese medicine massage and other skills, and has personally experienced the difficulty of life and employment of disabled people. He is determined to do his best to help more people with physical disabilities like himself.

In the past 20 years, Yang Decai has successively founded 5 non-government public welfare organizations, benefiting more than 190,000 people. He has successively won titles such as "China's Good Man" and "National Volunteer Sunshine Envoy for the Disabled".

Yang Decai not only trained 518 children of the disabled and migrant workers to learn various survival skills and achieve employment for free, but also often encouraged them, as long as there is sunshine in their hearts, life "hitting the wall" is still wonderful.

To this end, he established the Sunshine Art Troupe for the Disabled to help them further open their hearts and find the joy of life.

They are the same as healthy people, that is, they also have strong spiritual and cultural desires, such as singing, dancing, mountain climbing, and tug-of-war.

After meeting their material requirements, I will try my best to meet their spiritual, cultural and sports requirements, and lead them to carry out cultural and sports activities to fulfill their cultural, sports and artistic dreams one after another.

[Explanation] Yang Decai introduced that the members of the art troupe are not professionally trained. Therefore, he specially hired professional music teachers, rented venues and purchased equipment at his own expense, and provided free art training for them.

65-year-old Liu Lequ is totally blind. Since she joined the Art Troupe in 2004, she has witnessed Yang Decai’s efforts in public welfare for the disabled, and has personally experienced a change in her mentality. She is very grateful to Yang Decai .

The spiritual gains cannot be measured by money.

Because I went from being able to see to not being able to see, I was in a very bad mood at the time, and I didn't have any confidence in life.

After participating in this singing group, I was rescued. Later, I saw that Teacher Yang himself could not see at all. Under the infection, it has added a lot of fun to my life.

[Explanation] Yang Decai told reporters that it is his greatest happiness to enable the disabled who were once disheartened about the future to regain confidence in life and have the same spiritual satisfaction as ordinary people.

In the future, he also hopes to make more people feel their brave, optimistic and positive attitude towards life.

I saw that through my efforts, these disabled friends in the art troupe, they sang, they danced, they danced, they were so happy, I was very happy.

I just want to keep my art troupe well. First of all, it needs to be professionalized on the basis of the existing scale, so that it can go out of our Hunan and become an influential amateur art troupe for disabled people in the whole society. .
