The 15th of this year's spring labor offensive is a concentrated response day, and the "Electric Machinery Union", which is made up of labor unions of electrical manufacturers, has a policy of setting the monthly wage increase equivalent to a base increase to 5000 yen or more as the minimum acceptable level. We have decided and are continuing final negotiations with the management side.

In this year's spring labor union, the industrial union "Electric Union" is seeking a monthly salary of 7,000 yen or more as a base increase equivalent to raising the basic salary after securing a regular salary increase.

On the other hand, the management side has shown understanding for the base increase, and says that the specific amount will be negotiated by each company, saying that "the situation is that there are differences in the performance forecasts of each company."

Against this backdrop, the Denki Rengo negotiated with 12 major companies and decided on a policy of setting the monthly wage of 5,000 yen or more as the minimum acceptable level for base pay increases.

Last year, the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers set the minimum level of acceptance at 1,500 yen or more, and 12 major companies agreed to raise the base by 3,000 yen from 1,500 yen.

The minimum level for this year is 3,500 yen higher than last year, and it strongly shows the stance that a large wage increase is not negotiable in the midst of record price increases.

The 15th of this year's spring labor offensive is a concentrated response day, and the focus is on how much wage increases will be realized and how far the movement of wage increases will spread.
