A 33-year-old suspect was arrested in Sakai City, Osaka, on suspicion of murdering a 63-year-old man who was receiving public assistance. On the 13th, the police began a search at the ward office in Sakai City on suspicion of breach of trust.

Last November, Daiki Kusumoto (33), who lives next door, was arrested on suspicion of murder for assaulting and killing a 63-year-old man in an apartment complex in Naka Ward, Sakai City.

The two were receiving public assistance, and the police were investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident. It means that it was found that there was a suspicion of illegally paying welfare expenses.

For this reason, on the morning of the 13th, the police began a search at the Naka Ward Office on suspicion of causing damage to the city.

Regarding this incident, it is clear that the staff of the ward office did not report it while witnessing Kusumoto raise his hand to the man and receive most of the man's welfare expenses.

Sakai City commented, "We will cooperate as much as possible with the police investigation."
