[Explanation] The new historical drama "Qu Yuan", co-created and performed by Hubei Changjiang People's Art Theater and Hubei Three Gorges Performing Arts Group, is about to start a national tour. The main creative team will hold a media meeting in Wuhan on March 13.

　　[Explanation] It is reported that after two years of creation and rehearsal, the newly written drama "Qu Yuan" was written by the famous playwright Huang Weiruo. The two-hour stage performance condensed Qu Yuan's tragic and great life.

　　[Explanation] Huang Weiruo said that before writing the script, he deliberately went to Yichang, Jingzhou, and Suizhou in Hubei to collect folk songs and collected a large amount of historical documents of Chu State. Most of his creative inspiration came from the study of "Chu Ci".

　　For the first time in my creation, what I especially felt was that after you have read Qu Yuan's poems by heart, and then gradually sorted out the clues of his fate recorded in history, the middle of his poems, directly The language, put it into the major events of his life, can completely fit.

　　[Explanation] In the script, Huang Weiruo translated the verses in "Li Sao", "Heavenly Questions", "Nine Songs" and "Ode to Orange" into modern Chinese and quoted them as lines.

　　There are at least 100 translations of the Songs of Chu into modern Chinese. You can see the differences and understandings of certain things, but they are generally the same. You can find what you want.

　　[Explanation] In the 1940s, the famous Chinese writer Guo Moruo created the image of Qu Yuan on the stage for the first time.

Talking about the differences from the play "Qu Yuan" created by Mr. Guo Moruo, Huang Weiruo said that Guo Moruo's version of "Qu Yuan" was born during the Anti-Japanese War.

Now the "Qu Yuan" created by myself focuses on the excavation of Qu Yuan's cultural connotation.

　　Today's "Qu Yuan" is that we are in a peaceful period. We can sit down quietly and reflect on what the history of Chu in the late Warring States period can bring us.

　　[Explanation] Qu Yuan is a great patriotic poet in China and the founder of romantic literature.

According to textual research, Qu Yuan was born in Danyang of Chu State (now Zigui, Yichang, Hubei).

In 1953, Qu Yuan was listed as one of the four major cultural celebrities in the world, and his characters, ideas and political ideas have strong appeal and appeal at home and abroad.
