Russian writer, poet, screenwriter and playwright Sergei Mikhalkov was born on March 13, 1913. He became interested in literature during his school years: then the future writer published his own magazine for his family. Mikhalkov began to publish at the age of 15, and in 1936, when the poet was only 23 years old, his poem "Uncle Styopa" was published as a separate book. Sergey Mikhalkov also wrote for adults, but he became famous precisely as a classic of children's literature. According to his scripts, animated films and feature films were shot.
