  The 2022 Henan Archaeological New Discovery Forum held on March 8 showed from many aspects that the archaeological work in Henan in 2022 has achieved many major achievements, especially around "Xia Culture Research", "Central Plains Civilization Process Research" and other "archaeological China" Significant progress has been made in major research projects. These archaeological discoveries range from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, involving a variety of sites and rich connotations.   In Kaifeng, the ancient capital, since 2018, the Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the Kaifeng Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology have carried out continuous archaeological excavations on the Zhouqiao site.

Up to now, a total of 4,400 square meters has been excavated at the Zhouqiao site, and 117 remains of various types in different periods have been discovered, including river channels, hydraulic facilities, and bridges.

Zhouqiao Stone Wall is currently the largest stone mural in the Northern Song Dynasty discovered in China.   In Sanmenxia, ​​the city of swans, a total of 570 tombs were excavated in the 2022 Shanzhou City Cemetery.

Among them, a set of 9 copper button bells and a set of 10 stone chime bells were produced. This is the first time that Sanmenxia copper chime bells have been discovered since the official establishment of the city, providing rich material for the study of archaeological culture in the transitional period of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
