She has been engaged in non-destructive testing for more than 20 years, and she has never had any wrong detection or missed detection.
Wang Liping, 46 years old this year, is the leader of the flaw detection quality inspection team in the bogie quality control room of the Quality Assurance Department of CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. The current work object is the CR400BF intelligent EMU.
There are 54 employees in Wang Liping's team, of which only three are women.

The so-called "flaw detection", also known as non-destructive testing, is to detect defects on the surface and inside of parts without destroying or damaging the parts. The principles of industrial non-destructive testing and medical physical examination are basically the same.

When people are sick, there are doctors, and when the high-speed rail has defects, there are our non-destructive inspectors. We are the high-speed rail doctors, and we ensure that the high-speed rail leaves the factory without defects.
[Explanation] Wang Liping has participated in the non-destructive testing tasks of all main passenger car bogie components since the speed increase of China's railways.
She said that in this work, women are cautious, patient, emotionally stable, not easily bored and impatient, and have unique advantages in operations that are gentle and precise.

There are many gay men in my working environment, and their personalities are more rough and unrestrained. We use our women's delicacy and care to get along very well with them.
[Explanation] Since engaging in this work, Wang Liping has been rooted in the front line every day, skilled in using electromagnetic, ultrasonic, X-ray, penetration and other non-destructive testing methods, and has completed the testing tasks of China's main high-speed EMU bogies with high quality, and various types of cities. Inspection tasks of rail passenger car bogies and non-destructive testing of export rail passenger car bogies.
Wang Liping told the reporter that she asked herself to be serious and responsible for every test, repeated inspections, and resolutely ensured that there were no mistakes or omissions.
In 2018, CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. established a non-destructive testing model worker innovation studio. As the head of the studio, Wang Liping played the role of high-skilled talents in teaching and guiding, and built an echelon of non-destructive testing skills.
She said that she is not only a front-line operator, but also a leader in new technologies and processes, and she must work with team members to firmly guard the safety of EMUs.
