But at the same time, Hong Kong is an international intellectual property registration trade center, which makes use of Hong Kong's financial environment, Hong Kong's legal environment, and Hong Kong's international environment.
Therefore, we have formed an international intellectual property center, such as registration, transaction, property rights protection and so on.
Therefore, the Science and Technology Innovation Center in Beijing and the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Registration and Trade Center can cooperate very well, and should be a new aspect of Beijing-Hong Kong cooperation.

I think we need to focus on one industry, or scientific research in a certain field. I think it should be a research on biotechnology and life science and technology. We must give full play to Hong Kong's strengths and meet the needs of the country.
[Explanation] In addition to promoting cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland, Leung Chun-ying told reporters that Hong Kong also has advantages in promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
He said that the "Belt and Road" initiative puts forward the concept of people-to-people bonds, which is one of the foundations of exchanges in the current international environment.
Hong Kong is a highly internationalized, highly open city with extensive international connections. It can do a lot in people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
