After a semi-final with a dance band tribute to Pernilla Wahlgren, an interlude with "After dark" and a vote where only the twelve were announced, the Swedish people now know who will compete in the final in Stockholm next week.

Out of eight entries, a total of four were able to move on.

The folk pop duo Nordman received the most votes with their contribution "Släppa alla sorger".

- This was quite unexpected, one might say, says Mats Wester in Efterfest!

- Humble, Håkan Hemlin fills in.

To recharge, Hemlin will now go home and wash and take care of his new puppy, he says.

"I'm in shock"

Soon after, Theoz entered with his pyrotechnic pop song "Mer av dig", making him the youngest person with the most final places under his belt.

- I'm very happy, I don't even know what to say.

I'm in shock, I think, says Theoz.

He also reveals that he is not the one behind the whistling in the song.

"So tagged"

The 16-year-old Kiana landed in third place, despite vocal problems during the week, with her song "Where did you go", she says that the vocal problems only contributed to the fact that it feels extra great to have managed to win the votes.

- It's so much fun, I'm so excited, love to you who voted, says Kiana about having progressed.

The last desirable place was picked by the veteran Mariette, who will now make her fifth Melodifestival final.

Next week they will compete alongside already established artists such as Loreen, Maria Sur and Marcus and Martinus for who will represent Sweden in the Eurovision song contest in Liverpool.

The final takes place in the Friends arena in Stockholm on March 11.
