A 48-year-old suspect was arrested for snatching a passerby's woman's bag on the street in Shimbashi, Tokyo, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that it is involved in more than 60 snatching cases in Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture.

He denies the allegations against the investigation.

Tomoyuki Oshima (48), an unemployed man from Edogawa Ward, was arrested.

In October last year, a woman in her 30s who was walking on the sidewalk in Shimbashi, Tokyo, was suspected of theft, saying she snatched a bag containing 50,000 yen in cash while passing by motorcycle.

The suspect was identified through surveillance cameras surrounding the scene.

In response to the investigation, he denied the charges, saying, "I don't remember."

The suspects have been arrested and indicted for two other snatching incidents that occurred in Tokyo last October, and the Metropolitan Police Department has a total of 60 other cases in Tokyo, Chiba Prefecture, and Saitama Prefecture. I'm investigating it as being involved in the extra snatching incident.
