What happened yesterday in Bryansk is a tragedy.

The tragedy of individual families whose fathers and husbands were killed by Ukrainian saboteurs, and the residents of one particular border village who survived one of the most terrible days in their lives, and entire countries, one of which - ours - again lost its people, and the second - neighboring - finally secured the status of a terrorist country.

Unfortunately, such tragedies are no longer rare, so there is every reason to believe that they will happen again.

Because, losing on the battlefield, Ukraine will expect to take moral and informational revenge in this way: both by distracting its layman from failures at the front, and by trying to undermine our faith in our security forces, depriving us of peace and a sense of security.

But both of these goals were not achieved yesterday.

For some time, the inhabitants of Ukraine rejoiced at the news from the Bryansk region, but the fuse did not last long.

A few hours later, they returned to monitoring the situation around Artemovsk and expressed clear dissatisfaction with what was happening there.

In our information space, which survived a shock, a panic attack against the backdrop of numerous unreliable information and soon returned to an adequate moral state, everything came down to the question of how and how to help the victims, and the general agreement that Ukraine should be punished.

Not only for yesterday's excess, but for everything that she has already done and is only going to do.

The last thing I want to admit is that, unfortunately, the Kursk, Belgorod, Rostov and Bryansk regions are no longer even a front-line zone, but a real front.

The only difference is that there Ukraine is fighting civilians with the help of drones and DRGs.

But for people whose homes are regularly shelled and whose children are injured, that doesn't make it any easier.

After all, there is no difference in what way they tried to kill you.

The main thing is that they want to kill you.

Moreover, those whom you until recently considered a good neighbor and even brother.

Hopefully, after yesterday's incident, we have parted with the last illusions about who we have to fight with.

And there will be less talk about the "misguided fraternal people" - at least in public space.

Because it is already impossible to deny the obvious: Ukraine is a terrorist country.

And our reaction to all its actions, as a result of which our people are killed and our children are injured, must be appropriate.

No pity or mercy.

And on our part there should be not only revenge, but also work for pre-emption.

After all, rabid dogs are shot, not negotiated with.

So we, with great difficulty and regret, finally coming to an understanding of the current state of Ukraine through blood and tears, must accept the idea that the main Ukrainian national idea is its maniacal desire to destroy everyone and everything connected with Russia.

Believe me, if they had something and they were not afraid of the answer, they would have been thrashing around Moscow and St. Petersburg long ago, not forgetting about our other cities and towns.

And they would not have any hesitation about the death of our children or the destruction of architectural monuments.

Because they have long since turned into a pack of rabid dogs, ready to tear everything that smells of the Russian spirit.

And the only way to stop them is by force.

A force that we still hesitate to use, counting on the fact that someone on the other side is about to suddenly wake up and come to their senses.

This will not happen.

All red lines and points of no return passed.

And for a long time.

Therefore, yes, I am infinitely proud of the boy Fedya, who saved two of his classmates.

And I bow my head to the memory of the two dead men who, at the cost of their lives, protected those who were next to them.

But we must do everything to ensure that our children do not face this.

Never.

And for this we must not only defend ourselves, but also neutralize the potential threat emanating from a neighboring country.

I offer my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

To all the wounded - a speedy recovery and return to a normal, calm and peaceful life.

Our specialists - a low bow for the service.

All of us - adequacy and sanity.

And most importantly - a clear understanding of what time we are now living in, and the acceptance of the fact that if someone promises to kill us, then he must be believed.

And start behaving in accordance with the threat declared to us.
