Takiyama Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Hachioji City, Tokyo, was searched by the Metropolitan Police Department for suspicion that four nurses had assaulted a patient. He was arrested on suspicion of assault.



In response to the incident, the "Japan Psychiatric Hospital Association", which has 1,185 psychiatric hospitals nationwide, held a press conference at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on the 3rd, and Chairman Manabu Yamazaki said, "It is disappointing that such an incident occurred at a member hospital. I can't stand it. I apologize deeply."



After that, he went to Takiyama Hospital on the 1st and revealed that the association conducted an interview with the director and others with lawyers.



In response to the investigation, the director said, "I thought I had managed to prevent human rights violations, but I was caught off guard. I was surprised because I was doing my best." about it.
