In a project to support young women who have been victims of sexual violence and abuse, the Tokyo metropolitan government has filed 1.9 million yen due to inadequate processing when an organization entrusted by the Tokyo metropolitan government reports expenses. I have decided not to accept yen as an expense.

For the past five years, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has entrusted a project to support girls who have lost their homes due to sexual violence and abuse to Colabo, a general incorporated association in Tokyo.

Last year, when the Tokyo Metropolitan Audit Committee received a request for an audit from residents saying that there was an overstatement of expenses in the accounting report of the corporation, it was found that there were unfair points in the processing of expenses by the corporation. I asked the Health and Welfare Bureau to re-investigate.

The Health and Welfare Bureau announced the results on the 3rd and decided not to recognize 1.9 million yen as expenses out of the 29 million yen reported as expenses by the corporation.

According to this, the amount of 1 million yen was recorded as expenses without remuneration for tax accountants, etc., who are also in charge of other businesses, and it was pointed out that it was not appropriate as an expense because it was a corporation's own business. There are also 60,000 yen.

Even after deducting the 1.9 million yen that was not approved this time, the expenses exceed the upper limit of the consignment fee, so the corporation does not need to return it.

In addition, the city requested improvement because the corporation refused to present part of the receipt in response to the investigation.

The corporation's legal team commented, ``We refrained from presenting only the parts related to the privacy of the protected women. We would like to discuss the matter with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.''

Governor Koike "Determine whether to outsource or subsidize the project based on the content"

The metropolitan government wants to consider with the government whether this project can be changed to a subsidized project in which the use of expenses is more strictly determined than outsourcing.

Governor Koike said at a press conference on the 3rd, "In the first place, this project is a national project. Whether the project will be outsourced or subsidized will be decided based on the content of the project." said.
