Nagasaki Prefecture's Tsushima Coast Guard announced that a patrol boat that was on patrol in Aso Bay, Tsushima City, encountered a pod of dolphins.

The Japan Coast Guard says encounters with dolphins in the bay are rare.

According to the Tsushima Coast Guard Office, around 11:20 am on the 25th of this month, a group of dolphins were seen swimming in Aso Bay near Mitsushima Town, Tsushima City. It is said that the crew of Tsugumo witnessed it.



In the footage provided by the Japan Coast Guard, dolphins are first seen behind the patrol boat.



Then, several dolphins reappeared near the patrol boat, swimming side by side for a while.



According to the Tsushima Coast Guard, it is rare to encounter dolphins in the bay.
