[Explanation] Recently, the Jilin City Museum exhibited more than 30 cultural relics in its collection.

Among them, the bronze sword with double bird heads unearthed locally in the Warring States Period is exhibited for the first time, which incorporates the shape and structure of the Central Plains bronze sword.

Cultural relic experts believe that this cultural relic proves that the Northeast region had stable exchanges and interactions with the Central Plains as far back as the Warring States period, and that it possessed corresponding smelting and casting technologies.

  The cultural relics exhibited this time come from multiple historical periods, including the pig head stone carving of the Xituanshan Culture in the Bronze Age, the bronze sword with the double bird head of the Warring States period, the Han Changle Weiyang tile, the Tang Bohai double-handed horse decoration, the Song Zhongshu's seal, and the golden double carp pattern Bronze mirror etc.

  The two bronze swords placed in a prominent position in the exhibition hall attracted a large number of visitors to watch because of their unique shape and elegant color.

  These two swords were unearthed and found in Jilin (city).

The form (shape) of their entire sword not only borrows from the form (shape) of the bronze sword in the Central Plains, but also has unique characteristics belonging to the Northeast culture.

For example, the head part of its sword uses the image of a bird as the head of the sword.

Especially the bronze dagger with double bird heads on the top is plated with a layer of lead and tin by a special process, so the entire sword body is still as clean as new after more than 2,000 years of wind and rain.

  [Explanation] Experts on cultural relics believe that the bronze sword with two bird heads on the opposite side of the Warring States period can be confirmed. As far back as the Warring States period, the Northeast region had exchanges and interactions with the Central Plains region.

And have the corresponding smelting, casting technology.

  It is understood that the bronze sword with double bird heads, the opponent of the Warring States Period, was unearthed in the 1980s, but due to the constraints of protection and research, it has not been exhibited to the public until now, which is of great historical research value.

  Judging by its shape and craftsmanship, its specification should be relatively high.

Then this bronze sword has no edge. According to our judgment, it should be a kind of command sword or command knife used by senior generals or commanders of the army to command battles (battles).
