A psychiatric hospital in Hachioji, Tokyo, where a nurse was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an inpatient, the Tokyo metropolitan government conducted an unannounced on-site inspection early in the morning of the 24th to see if there was any inappropriate behavior. I'm going to look into it in detail, including the system.

Takiyama Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Hachioji City, underwent an on-site inspection by the capital.

Around 5:30 am on the 24th, several Tokyo officials entered the hospital and conducted a second unannounced on-site inspection.

At the hospital, a nurse was arrested on suspicion of assault for hitting an inpatient, and the city, which provides guidance to the hospital, also conducted an on-site inspection on the 15th of this month based on the Medical Care Law and the Mental Health Welfare Law.

According to the people involved, the first on-site inspection was conducted mainly in the evening, but this time it was unannounced in the early morning for the purpose of interviewing the night shift staff.

The metropolitan government will investigate in detail whether there were any inappropriate acts, including the hospital's management system.

Takiyama Hospital commented, "We will continue to fully cooperate with police investigations and metropolitan investigations."
