Previously, we recognize Kiana Blanckert from her participation in Talent and from the lead role in the musical "The Wizard of Oz".
On Saturday, she opens the starting field in Malmö with her entry "Where did you go", which she describes as a pop show number.
- I'm very busy.
I just have such wonderfully tense nerves, so it just feels good right now, says Kiana.
Among the youngest in Mello history
In addition to competing in Melodifestivalen on Saturday, she is also celebrating her birthday.
She then becomes one of the youngest artists to compete in the festival's history.
- In the beginning, it kind of felt like I was a baby entering an adult environment.
I was a little worried that people would see me as a little kid, but I haven't experienced that at all.
Looking up to Loreen
Despite the fact that they meet as rivals in Saturday's competition, she mentions the artist Loreen as one of her biggest role models from the previous Melodifestivals.
- She's kind of like a mother.
I've looked up to her since I was maybe five, says Kiana.
