In last week's competition, it was the Norwegian brothers Marcus and Martinus together with Paul Rey who were sent on to the final.

On Saturday evening, it is time for the fourth and final competition, which will take place at the Malmö arena.

Schlagerdänga, electro rock and young debutantes

Among the seven competing contributions, Tiktok profile Emil Henrohn can be seen performing classic schlager dänga, the group Smash into Pieces, which represents the competition's electro rock contribution, and the Talang star Kiana, who will be one of the youngest artists to compete in Melodifestivalen's history.

The big talking point during this year's festival is that the artist Loreen is making a comeback on the middle stage.

It is more than ten years after the win with "Euphoria", which is now one of the Eurovision Song Contest's biggest classics.

On Saturday, Loreen competes with the contribution "Tattoo", which is about fighting for love.

- It's a very "Loreen" song, it feels great to compete again, says Loreen to SVT.

Carola in a grand interlude

This week, the announcement came that caused mello lovers to rejoice - Carola is a guest in the middle act.

This year marks 40 years since she broke through as an artist in Melodifestivalen with the song "Främling".

On Saturday, she celebrates the anniversary by performing the debut hit together with her two other Eurovision entries "Caught by a storm wind" and "Evivhet".

The Melodifestivalen can be seen live on SVT1 at 20:00 and can also be seen on SVT Play.
