Development and global economy expert Talal Abu-Ghazaleh sparked controversy through his statements that the world war will occur at the end of this year, while political statements are increasing on the first anniversary of Russia's war on Ukraine.

In the expectations of the current year, Abu-Ghazaleh considered - as stated in the "Above the Power" program (24/2/2023) - that this year will not end before the outbreak of the world war and is only waiting for the spark of its launch, as he stressed in a television interview that Russia's war on Ukraine It is not European, local or regional, but rather the beginning of the world war.

Abu Ghazaleh did not refute the statements of the Syrian businessman, Rami Makhlouf, who assumed the personality of an astrologer and a mystic at the same time, who in turn warned the Syrians of upcoming wars, earthquakes, volcanoes, and floods.

In the field of the Ukrainian war, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirms, in its first anniversary, the impossibility of defeating Russia in the field, even though he made the field and came to Ukraine, in whose capital he landed.

Putin said in a speech at the "Defender of the Fatherland Day" ceremony that Moscow will continue to pay attention to strengthening what he described as its "nuclear triad", stressing that the conflict is currently taking place over what he described as the historical lands of Russia.

For his part, US President Joe Biden said - during his visit to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev - that additional sanctions against Russian elites and companies will be announced at a later time, and he also pledged to give Kiev a new US aid package to withstand Russia in the war.

And from the Polish capital, Warsaw, days before the first anniversary of the start of the Russian war on Ukraine, Biden said in a speech that his country's support for Kiev will remain firm, and he saw that the "illusions" of his Russian counterpart Putin had dissipated after a year of war.

The US President accused Russia of committing "heinous massacres" against civilians in Ukraine and using the weapon of rape, and said that the past year witnessed "extraordinary brutality" by Russian forces and mercenaries.

From France, French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed his country's readiness to engage in a long-term conflict, stressing his desire to defeat Russia, but without crushing it, as he described it.
