The Académie des César distributes its awards this Friday, February 24, during a ceremony to be followed live and exclusively on Europe 1 and Canal+.

This year, the Césars are opting for a new format.

No more traditional master of ceremonies, instead, it is duos who will be responsible for animating the evening.

Glamorous atmosphere on the stage of the Olympia, a decor with golden reflections and a parade of stars.

Nine actors and actresses are responsible for hosting the evening during the 48th Cesar ceremony.

A collegial presentation that requires a little bit of repetition.

Europe 1 slipped behind the scenes to attend the preparations.

Several rooms, several atmospheres

"We are all quite different, but we come together well, a bit like our cinema, so I think it's pretty good. There will be several rooms, several atmospheres, like in old nightclubs We will be an old nightclub, that's very good," reports actor Raphaël Personnaz.

In the room, there is not yet an audience, but a ballet of cameras.

About fifteen are deployed, ready to scrutinize the reactions of the nominees.

From his control truck, Franck Broca performs the ceremony.

Jamel Debbouze will open the ball

"We quickly forgot, but last year, there were still masks in the room. This year, it's a full room, without a mask. We're going to find smiles, smiles that we didn't see" , declares the director of the evening at the microphone of Europe 1. The program for this 48th edition has not yet been unveiled, but we know that Jamel Debbouze will open the ball with a strong text.

There will also be a tribute to Jean-Louis Trintignant and Jean-Luc Godard.
