In Kawazu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, the Kawazu cherry blossoms, which are known as early-blooming cherry blossoms, are in full bloom, and many tourists are enjoying the tunnel of cherry blossoms.

The Kawazu cherry blossoms in Kawazu Town were late to bloom due to the cold weather last month, but they are finally at their best, and the deep pink petals are blooming vividly.

850 cherry trees have been planted along the Kawazu River, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, along the Kawazu River for 4 kilometers.

Tourists took pictures with their smartphones while walking slowly along the promenade with the tunnel of flowers.

A parent and child who came from Yokohama said, ``It's really beautiful.

According to the Kawazu Town Tourism Association, the cherry blossom festival, which began on the 1st of this month, has attracted 130,000 people, 80,000 more than last year, by the 22nd.

Since the flowering was delayed this year, the cherry blossom season is expected to continue until early March, so the festival period has been extended until the 5th of next month.
