On February 21, the reporter learned from the Songshan Shaolin Temple in China that the Shaolin Kung Fu Monk Troupe’s first overseas performance and exchange activities this year came to a successful conclusion, and the four consecutive performances in Switzerland were all “hard to get a ticket”.

In the first ten days of this month, a performance delegation composed of 20 Shaolin monks arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, and performed the Shaolin Kung Fu stage play "Dancing Classic" in succession there.

The English name of "Dancing Sutra" is "SUTRA" and the Chinese name is "Buddhist Scripture". It mainly tells Chinese stories and Shaolin Kungfu stories in the way of combining traditional Shaolin Kung Fu and western modern dance.

The stage play crew is directed by the famous choreographer Sidi Rabbi Cherkao, composed by 5 world-class musicians, and 20 monks from Shaolin Temple.

Since its premiere in the UK in May 2008, it has visited nearly a hundred cities in more than 30 countries, attracting hundreds of thousands of audiences.

In an online interview with reporters, Cherkao introduced that he had visited Shaolin Temple many times, and after seeing Shaolin monks and Shaolin Kungfu, he felt that an artistic way should be used to show the connotation of monks’ practice and Kungfu Come out, so the audience has the opportunity to watch the drama "Dancing Classic".
