This original play, based on the story of the cultural relics defense war that took place in 1948, infected the audience with its unique performance form, exquisite stage design and suspenseful plot setting.
The play is tailor-made for Baoguo Temple, a thousand-year-old ancient temple located in the southern part of Beijing. The main creators make full use of the three main halls of Baoguo Temple to form a performing arts space integrating circulation, experience, and performance, integrating drama performance, stage beauty and sound effects, multimedia animation, installation art, Various elements such as impromptu interaction have given this drama story a new historical vitality and formed a more intimate drama-watching relationship between the audience and the actors.
Dong Ning, deputy general manager of Beijing Performing Arts Group, said that the immersive drama "Peking 1948" was created by Beijing Performing Arts Group to continue to polish the cultural brand of "Guild Hall with Drama", expand new space and new formats of performing arts, and empower the construction of "City of Performing Arts" An immersive and original work.
