He said Ukraine needed "weapons, sanctions, money and solidarity", urging each country to choose its own way of showing solidarity.

Ukraine's foreign minister said the delivery of battle tanks to Ukraine was "on track" and that it was a matter of "weeks" to materialize.

Speaking on the fighter jets, he said he had "no doubt" that they would also be provided.

He cited the Balkans, the Central African Republic and Syria as regions where the master of the Kremlin is implementing his strategy: "the destruction and undermining of stability".

Asked about calls from French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz not to humiliate Putin and keep the channels open with him, the minister replied that he had not heard such remarks "for many months". .

On the issue of regime change in Moscow, he said only the Russians should decide who should lead their country.

However, he added, "the question is how to make the Russian people understand that Putin is also their problem, and that their life would be much better without him."
