Eddy de Pretto has drawn the wrath of several Internet users by reacting to the Pierre Palmade affair on Monday February 20, 2023 on his Twitter account.

The singer, openly homosexual, called on his fans not to mix "gay people with Palmade".

Following this statement, Eddy de Pretto was accused of "shooting the ambulance" and "wanting to lynch" the 54-year-old comedian. 

More than a week after the tragic road accident caused by Pierre Palmade, the reactions continue to multiply.

Monday, February 20, 2023, it was singer Eddy de Pretto who commented on the case in a tweet that caused a real outcry.

The artist, openly homosexual, nevertheless called on his fans not to confuse gays with the 54-year-old comedian. 

"Please do not mix gay people with Palmade"

Very few Internet users reacted positively to Eddy de Pretto's message.

Many accused him of "shooting the ambulance", less than two weeks after the car accident caused by Pierre Palmade.

"Delete. You come out of a lawsuit against your harassers and you throw yourself into the pack to say who are the good gays and the bad? You want to lynch him? Justice will do its job", reacted a user on Twitter. 

“It would be nice to stop the demagoguery and shoot the ambulance too! Despite all the sympathy I have for you Eddy, I find your tweet useless!”, commented another.

"Was it really necessary? In any case, those who don't know that some make the amalgam, here they are aware. Sometimes it's better to be quiet, here's an example", can we read also under the publication of Eddy de Pretto.

“We wonder if the purpose of this tweet is to REALLY protect gays or if it is SIMPLY very stupid… Honestly, there, I doubt, the subject is so serious!”, Nanou Kergro for his part annoyed.

Eddy de Pretto has already filed a complaint for cyberbullying

In June 2021, Eddy de Pretto had been the victim of a wave of hateful comments following a performance in a Parisian church.

More than 3,000 homophobic messages but also death threats had been sent to him on social networks.

The singer then decided to file a complaint for cyberbullying.

Following an investigation by the National Pole for the Fight against Online Hate of the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office and a trial, eleven people were sentenced to suspended sentences ranging from three to six months in prison.
