"Son" (

)

At first glance, everything is fine in Peter's life: a successful career, a young wife, Beth, a newborn son.

But one day, his ex-wife appears on the threshold of his house with complaints about their teenage son Nicholas.

The young man is completely out of hand - he skips school, keeps silent all the time, withdraws into himself.

Peter promises to help and transports his son to him.

The plot of the painting by Florian Zeller is based on his play of the same name.

“Sometimes the hardest part is the simplicity needed to tell the story from Peter's point of view.

Those who surround a suffering person do not know how to deal with it.

He (Peter. -

) is a loving father who tries very hard to help his son.

He wants to open the door, but he doesn't have the keys.

I wanted the audience to feel exactly this feeling and this bitterness of powerlessness, ”said the director in an interview with AwardsWatch.

Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Zen McGrath, Anthony Hopkins and Vanessa Kirby played the central roles in the film.

The world premiere took place at the Venice International Festival in September 2022.

"Rabies"

The plot of the thriller by Dmitry Dyachenko (“Cheburashka”, “What Men Talk About”) is based on a real story that happened in 2019 in the Amur Region.

Filming took place in Altai and Kamchatka.

Igor (Aleksey Serebryakov) brings his drug-addicted son Vova (Vsevolod Volodin) to a hunting lodge in the forest.

At the same time, a rabies epidemic covers the taiga: infected animals attack people, they die even from small bites.

Igor will have to try not to become the prey of wolves and survive.

The film also starred Evgeny Tkachuk, Anna Ukolova, Georgy Dronov, Alexander Ustyugov and others.

“I play a district police officer who comes to the call to record another case of death of a person as a result of an attack by a rabid wolf.

And unwittingly, he becomes one of the main participants in the confrontation between people and wild predators, ”Tkachuk said in an interview with Gazeta.ru.

According to Dronov, there are "many parallels" in the film between a man suffering from addiction and a rabid beast.

"Marlow" (Marlowe)

Oscar-winning screenwriter, director of such projects as "Interview with the Vampire", "Cruel Game" and "The End of the Romance" Neil Jordan releases a film about the fearless and stubborn private detective Philip Marlowe.

The plot is based on the book The Black-Eyed Blonde by John Banville.

The main role was played by Liam Neeson, who had previously worked with the director on several occasions.

The film also stars Diane Kruger, Alan Cumming, Jessica Lange, Colm Meaney, Francois Arnault and others.

In the story, Marlow earns a living by investigating the most mysterious cases of disappearances and murders.

One day he receives an order from a lady to find her lover.

Later it turns out that other people are hunting the man.

The further the detective unravels this case, the more mysteries he has to solve.

"Dads vs Moms"

Maxim Malinin, actor, executive producer (Viy 3D) and second director of Night Watch, will make his directorial debut with a family comedy about the war of fathers and mothers.

In the center of the plot are two married couples living on the same staircase.

As a result of accumulated irritation, everyday fatigue and an uneven distribution of responsibilities, the spouses quarrel and are divided into two teams - moms and dads.

At the center of the conflict are children who try to reconcile the parties.

They call for help grandfather - the general of tank troops.

According to Malinin, his film is "a kind story about family values", "a movie about children and how important it is not to forget about them."

The director noted that in the work on the project it was most difficult to find young actors.

“Comedy itself is a difficult genre.

Plus even with the participation of children.

Not the easiest task for a director.

It was especially difficult to choose young actors.

Castings were held for several months, they were looking for guys who would fit the intended images as accurately as possible, because the children in the film have a serious dramatic burden, ”the newspaper Zarechye Segodnya quotes the director.

"Chekago"

Director Nikolai Rybnikov, who made his feature film debut, made a film about Siberia and its inhabitants.

The events unfold in the fictional city of Chegarinsk, which is a collective image of the industrial Siberian cities.

But the problem reflected in the picture is by no means fictional.

“This is a crime drama about the life of young people in the Siberian outback on one of the most pressing problems of society - the involvement of young people in drug crime.

We have been writing this story for more than two years with two co-authors Anna Gurina and Pavel Poluychik.

For a long time we collected sketches about young people who were somehow related to our topic, and as a result, we got a stable genre form, ”Rybnikov said in an interview with the SK-Novosti newspaper.

The action of the tape originates in the small northern town of Chegarinsk, which has become a kind of silk route for drugs coming from Central Asia to Siberia.

The main character Nikita decides to leave Chegarinsk for Moscow to become a musician.

His best friend invites him to carry a bag of illegal substances with him.

Thus begins the criminal page in Nikita's life.

Subsequently, this affects not only the life of the hero himself, but also his loved ones, who become the target of criminal authorities.
