In the early spring, when you walk into Alatengtara Gacha (Gacha is equivalent to a village) in Barunbieli Town, Alxa Left Banner, the alleys are clean and tidy, the courtyard windows are bright and clean, and the houses are well arranged. A beautiful rural picture comes into view.

Alxa Left Banner is located in the west of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, at the western foot of Helan Mountain, and belongs to the Alxa League.

Alateng Tala, which means "golden grassland" in Mongolian, has a total area of 7.9 square kilometers and belongs to pure agricultural gacha.

2023 will be the eighth year that Tian Minxing has come to Alatantara Gacha as the "first secretary" in the village.

"From poverty alleviation to rural revitalization, I have established a deep relationship with Gacha farmers and herdsmen." Tian Minxing said.

Tian Minxing clearly remembers that on September 17, 2015, he officially took office in Alatantara Gacha.

As early as 2013, Alatantara Gacha was identified as a poor village. At that time, there were 65 poor households with 168 people.

After staying in the village, what Tian Minxing thinks most about is "why to stay in the village, what to do in the village, and what to leave for the village".

"Increase the income of the village collective and introduce income-generating projects on the ground." Tian Minxing said, "It is the dream of every village secretary to make the villagers' pockets bigger and the rural environment more beautiful, including me of course."

In order to solve the problem of weak collective income in the village and the difficulty for poor households to get rich, Tian Minxing organized various research and demonstrations.

First of all, 1.5 million yuan was used to withdraw funds from "three visits to villages and three visits to households" to complete the construction of drying yard hardening, fences, and storage sheds.

"We also won more than 490,000 yuan in government poverty alleviation funds, and rented out the drying yard after expansion, which increased the income of Gacha farmers by more than 120,000 yuan." Tian Minxing said that as of now, Gacha's per capita net income is more than 21,000 yuan, and all of them have been lifted out of poverty. .

In his second year in the village, Tian Minxing learned that the family of Cao Jinxue, a villager, was struggling, and the family of four relied on him to work alone to make ends meet.

"I went to visit and saw that his house is dilapidated and old, and the walls are basically supported by wood. There is a danger of collapse at any time when there is a strong wind or heavy rain." Tian Minxing said.

In order to solve this problem, Tian Minxing reported to the leading group stationed in Alxa Left Banner many times, and finally gave each person a subsidy of 20,000 yuan in accordance with the relocation policy.

In the winter of that year, Cao Jinxue's family moved into a new house.

In recent years, in order to promote the construction of a beautiful countryside, Tian Minxing led the cadres and workers stationed in the village to clean up garbage and firewood from house to house, and demolished dilapidated earthen houses and courtyard walls.

"Currently, we have completed the demolition and construction of some old earthen houses and the declaration and construction of the sheep pen project for separating humans and animals. We will also build a small square and install fitness equipment to make everyone's living environment better and better." Tian Minxing said.

In order to solve the problems such as travel difficulties of Gacha villagers, Tian Minxing worked in many ways and coordinated with relevant departments to build roads for Gacha, making it a thing of the past.

In 2022, Tian Minxing contacted the water affairs department to completely solve the seasonal water shortage problem of 78 villagers.

Over the years in the village, Tian Minxing studied, labored, ate and lived with the members of the resident work team and the "Three Committees" of Gacha, and opened up a small vegetable field in the courtyard of the rented one-story dormitory, and he was self-sufficient in vegetables.

Tian Minxing also organized Mongolian Thangka inheritors, art teachers of vocational colleges, and handicraft teachers such as Alashan Kistler handmade paintings to hold regular handicraft production training classes, so that Gacha farmers and herdsmen can use their slack time to increase their income.

"The development of Alateng Tara Gacha is inseparable from Tian Minxing's hard work." Cao Jinxue said.

Over the past eight years, Tian Minxing has led Gacha farmers and herdsmen to change the appearance of the village and promote industrial development. Gacha has gradually embarked on a sustainable development path of ecological beauty, industrial prosperity, and people's prosperity.

In Tian Minxing's view, today's Alatantara Gacha not only has the "temperament" of industrial prosperity, but also the "appearance" of beautiful scenery and livable.

"Not long ago, we applied for the construction project of a 120-ton-per-day corn flaking plant. Combining the main production of corn raw materials in Barunbieli Town and the advantages of drying towers, storage and drying, the collective economy of Gacha will continue to grow this year." And Gacha's future development, Tian Minxing is full of confidence.

"In the village, what should we leave for the village? We must leave a sound grassroots party organization, we must leave rich industries for the village, and we must leave a beautiful picture of the countryside that can be seen and defended." Tian Minxing said.
