An event where you can enjoy crabs at a low price in Uozu City, the birthplace of "crab basket fishing" and one of the top-class red snow crab landings in Toyama Prefecture, started on the 18th.
This event was held by Uozu City under the name of "Uozu Crab Riot" in order to promote its local specialty red snow crab. I made.
About 300 bowls of crab were boiled all at once, and one bowl was served for 1,000 yen.
A 30-year-old man said, "For 1,000 yen, I could eat such a big crab, and it was worth it."
A boy in the second grade of elementary school said with a smile, "It's plump and tastes just like it was freshly harvested."
Takahiro Kato, chief of the Uozu City Commerce, Industry and Tourism Division, said, "In Toyama Prefecture, Uozu has the best red snow crab, so we planned to increase the number of places where people can casually eat it. I would like many people to eat it."
This event will be held on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until the 5th of next month, and it is planned to provide about 200 crabs each time, depending on the amount of landing.
