It's been a week since Ueno Zoo's giant panda "Shang Xiang" was returned to China.

Many fans have visited the zoo, and are saddened to say goodbye by taking videos and photos of their final moments.

Six years ago, Ueno Zoo's female giant panda, Xiang Xiang, was born through natural mating for the first time in Japan.

It is now 5 years old, of breeding age, and will be returned on the 21st of this month under an agreement with China, which holds the ownership.

On the 14th, one week before the return, about 2,600 people selected by lottery are visiting the zoo one after another.

It took about 2 minutes to see Xiang Xiang, and the visitors waved their hands while calling out their names, and took videos and photos until the last minute to say goodbye.

On the 14th, Xiangshan spent his time walking around the facility, climbing on a wooden platform, sitting down and breaking a long stick and chewing on it.

A woman in her 40s who lives in Tokyo said, "She was energetically facing the front and eating the sasa, and it was very cute."

In addition, a woman in her 50s from Kanagawa Prefecture said, "I'm glad I was able to see your cuteness at the end. Thank you. I told you to stay healthy and do your best."

Xiang Shan's viewing at Ueno Zoo will be the last day of this month on the 19th.
