At 13:44 on February 6, the 110 command center of Weiyuan County Public Security Bureau, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province received a report saying that an old man fell on the canopy on the 14th floor upstairs in a community and was in danger of falling at any time. He asked for help.
After receiving the police, the Weiyuan Special Patrol Brigade and the Chengnan Police Station on duty rushed to the scene.
After arriving at the scene, they found that there was still a woman helping the elderly on the canopy outside the window, and she might fall at any time. The civilian auxiliary police quickly carried out rescue work.
In order to gain time for rescue, the policeman Chen Meng jumped out of the window, successfully pulled the woman into the house with the help of other team members, and fixed the old man with a safety rope.
After the firefighters arrived, they finally managed to save the old man.
After the rescue, Chen Meng posted a "Moments" saying: "The 14th floor is very high. After the successful disposal, my legs are weak. Don't ask me if it's worth it, it's worth it!"
