Nanjing is also the first mainland economic and trade mission to Hong Kong after the full restoration of "customs clearance" between Hong Kong and the mainland.
Carrie Lam, former chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and honorary president of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province, said in her speech that she hoped that Hong Kong could make use of its unique location advantages to contribute to the cooperative development of the two cities.

As my country's international financial center, Hong Kong, especially in the past 10 years, has been continuously interconnected, which will definitely play a role in Nanjing's high-quality development.
In terms of the service industry, I also encourage more of our professional groups to organize some delegations to visit Nanjing as soon as possible after the two places (full recovery) "clear customs" to see where the professional services of the two places can be found. Better docking and make a function for the country's "Belt and Road" (strategy).

Hong Kong is a "super-connector". We must grasp Hong Kong's status as an international city. How to "go global" together with Hong Kong is a strength of Hong Kong, and it is also what Nanjing needs.
[Explanation] At the meeting, Han Liming, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Committee, delivered a video speech, and Mayor Chen Zhichang introduced the high-quality development and investment environment of Nanjing.
Chen Zhichang said that at present, both the mainland and Hong Kong are actively promoting a comprehensive economic recovery, and Nanjing is working hard to create a better development environment and comprehensively stimulate high-quality development and strong momentum.

Here I am also pleased to tell you that during the Spring Festival, the cumulative number of tourists received by Nanjing and tourism revenue increased by 33.1% and 36.4% respectively compared with the same period last year.
The sales of the 130 commercial and trade distribution companies under key monitoring have recovered to 90% of the same period in 2019, and the freight volume of road and waterways increased by 27.7% and 29.6% respectively compared with the same period of 2019, showing a good momentum of accelerated recovery.
In the next step, we sincerely hope that Ningbo and Hong Kong can join hands to seize new opportunities, reach new cooperation, and jointly open up a broader space for cooperation between Ningbo and Hong Kong while promoting economic prosperity and co-existence.
