In an interview with "Point" on Wednesday February 8, Brigitte Macron confided in her role as First Lady.

The wife of the President of the Republic explains that this job is a "load" even if some think that she is a "lazy" or that she "should not be there".

The former French teacher tries despite everything to find a balance: let Emmanuel Macron decide without giving up.

Brigitte Macron is currently on all fronts.

On the occasion of the new edition of the Yellow Pieces operation, the First Lady, President of the Hospital Foundation, was very present in the media to encourage the French to make donations.

We saw her in particular in

Les 12 coups de midi

and

Le grand concours

on TF1.

And, she also organized a big charity concert at the Zenith in Paris with big stars like Pharrell Williams or Blackpink.

"I'm on a ridge line"

This time interviewed by our colleagues from

Point,

Brigitte Macron indulged in a few secrets about her role as First Lady.

"Being the president's wife is a burden," says Emmanuel Macron's wife.

If she is very invested in the life and daily life of her husband, Brigitte Macron sometimes has trouble finding the right balance, to be heard without taking up too much space: "I am on a ridge line: the good , evil, which side does it fall on? There are those who think I'm a lazy person and those who think I shouldn't be here!", she lamented.

“She tells him things to be useful”

According to those close to her, Brigitte Macron is doing quite well.

"It's him (Emmanuel Macron) who decides, but there's no question of stepping aside, she tells him things to be useful. She brings him this absolute security: she's not a courtesan, she doesn't have whims , does not seek anything, if not his success to him”, entrusts one of his friends in the columns of the

Point.

Behind the scenes, Brigitte Macron is active, as she detailed in an interview with  Le

Parisien

on January 11.

"I try to act when someone sends me a file. I pass it on to authorized people on a case-by-case basis. It's concrete. I answer emails and letters. I take care of everything concerning the foundation Hospitals etc. I have appointments on education, health, disability and culture. There is also an international component: I welcome the spouses of Heads of State. Finally, there are meetings with the services on the Élysée house and the maintenance of its heritage", she explained.
