In an interview with the media "7 days" Tuesday February 7, 2023?

Isabelle Boulay confided in her remote relationship with the Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti.

A "difficult" situation for the singer who would like to see her companion more regularly.

Isabelle Boulay sometimes has trouble managing her romantic relationship with Eric Dupond-Moretti.

In an interview with the Quebec media

Tuesday February 7, 2023, the singer, who lives between Quebec and France, explained how difficult this rhythm was to manage.

Isabelle Boulay could not see her lover during the pandemic

"It's hard on the body," says the 50-year-old star who is doing the best she can to spend time with her lover.

She thus spends 15 days a month in France alongside the Minister of Justice.

In 2020, this whole organization was shaken up because of the pandemic.

"When the pandemic arrived, it did me good not to travel regularly," explains Isabelle Boulay.

"Then, when I was able to return to France because I was in a PACS with my lover, I had no obligation to perform on stage. While Éric was at the ministry during the day, I took care of my stuff in our apartment. I could take the time," she recalls.

"I can't demand that of him"

The singer tries today to relativize.

If Isabelle Boulay would like to see her companion more regularly and have a “normal” couple life, she is also perfectly aware of the need to adapt to make their relationship work. “As much my lover as I, we would like the other is waiting for us when we get home, but I cannot demand that from him, just as he cannot demand it from me”, assures Isabelle Boulay in the columns of

7 Days.

"I think I will always be someone that is expected. But when we are there for each other, we are fully present. I fully understand his reality, because it is also mine", she concludes philosophically.
