[Explanation] On February 6, Hong Kong and the Mainland resumed "customs clearance" in an all-round way. There is no limit on the number of customs clearance, no appointment and nucleic acid testing.

Among them, Luohu Port, the land port with the largest passenger flow between Shenzhen and Hong Kong before the epidemic, will resume passenger clearance services after a lapse of three years.

In order to resume the opening day, all relevant units of the port have made full preparations.

[Same period] Cui Ye, deputy captain of the fifth team on duty at the Luohu border checkpoint

First of all, we are actively maintaining contact with Hong Kong, and actively coordinating with the relevant departments of the port. At the same time, we are also continuously strengthening a scientific early warning of the exit and entry passenger flow of the port, further optimizing our service organization and normalizing it. Fully prepare our police force on duty, as well as our inspection channels.

In the near future, we have actually conducted a functional inspection and stress test on all the inspection facilities and equipment, which is to ensure that all our equipment can operate normally.

[Explanation] At 6:30 a.m. that day, Mr. Geng, the first Hong Kong tourist who entered the country through Luohu Port, came in a hurry. He needed to arrive in Dongguan for work before 8:30 a.m.

Mr. Geng told reporters that since the epidemic, he has rarely been able to return to Hong Kong to accompany his family. After the "customs clearance" is fully restored, he can travel between Dongguan and Hong Kong every weekend.

  [Concurrent] Passenger Mr. Geng

During the epidemic period, I only returned to Hong Kong once or twice a year, so I felt a little sorry for my family.

Because I had to be quarantined before, I could only return to Hong Kong twice a year.

In the future, I will go back and forth (two places) every week, which was the case before the epidemic.

[Explanation] The reporter at Luohu Port saw that red lanterns were hung everywhere. Flowers, wishing walls and "Welcome Home" display boards made cross-border passengers arriving in Shenzhen feel the warmth of home.

Many Hong Kong tourists said that the "customs clearance" was very smooth this time, and the comprehensive "customs clearance" made it easier for people to travel between the two places, and there will be more plans to come to the mainland in the future.

  [Concurrent] Passenger Mr. Hu

I haven't passed the customs here in Luohu for three years. When I came here, I felt familiar and a little strange, but the overall feeling is still very exciting. Today I mainly come here to experience it, and then I will go back (Hong Kong) in a while.

  [Concurrent] Passenger Mr. Feng

The mood is very good, and there are flowers.

Now I have to go to the bank to get all the cards back, take half a day to get this thing done, and then I will go back soon, and I will arrange time to come over after the holiday.

  [Same period] Passenger Mr. Lin

I haven't been here for more than three years, mainly for consumption.

  [Concurrent] Passenger Ms. Yang

It should be to go to Jinguanghua (Plaza) to have a look, and then drink tea.

It is possible to go back and forth on the same day, because I will come here with my daughter tomorrow, (the daughter) is in college, she will have no class tomorrow, so come back tomorrow, because it is very convenient.

[Explanation] Liu Guoxun, a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, also experienced "customs clearance".

He said that the biggest feeling is that it is fast, and he also praised the staff of the two places for assisting passengers to complete the health declaration code.

[Concurrent] Liu Guoxun, member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

We haven't felt that we have stayed for a long time, and if we look at the difference again, we will (just) pass the test.

Take the MTR from Sheung Shui to Luo Wu Station and then pass the customs. In fact, the whole process does not take 10 minutes.

Also, because the biggest difference between customs clearance and the past is the need to fill in the health declaration code, colleagues from MTR and Luohu also have some staff to help fill it out, so I think it is as convenient as before.

[Explanation] In the past three years, many cross-border students have been taking online classes at home. On the morning of the full recovery of "customs clearance", a large number of cross-border students appeared at Luohu Port heading for Hong Kong. They will also return to normal campus life.

[Concurrent] Ms. Xu, parent of cross-border students

The Luohu Port is very convenient, because our (children's) school is next to the Sheung Shui Railway Station, and we should walk 5 minutes to the school after getting off the station.

Of course I am looking forward to it. The child has been taking online classes for 3 years. He is very excited to go back to school for the first day today.

[Explanation] It is understood that in the initial stage of the reopening of Luohu Port, mainland outbound passengers can go to Hong Kong from the departure hall on the 3rd floor, and inbound passengers can enter Shenzhen from the arrival hall on the 1st floor.

The Luohu Border Inspection Station will continue to optimize measures to facilitate the entry and exit of the port according to the needs of inbound and outbound passengers.
