Senegalese football begins the year 2023 as it had begun that of 2022. Two days before the celebration of the first anniversary of the first victory at CAN, the local Lions brought back a trophy from Algeria to make the celebration even more beautiful.
Pape Thiaw's men did (almost) like those of Aliou Cissé by bringing back the first CHAN in the history of Senegalese football.
