The 30-year-old Roger is from Madagascar and is a 2019 doctoral student majoring in chemical engineering and technology at Yanshan University in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province.
In 2016, he met Rica, an international student from Madagascar, in China, and their son Ryan was born in 2018.
