At around 7:50 am on the 3rd, a person near the sugar factory in Izena Village reported that the sea in front of the sugar factory had turned black.



According to the Japan Coast Guard and other sources, sugar cane molasses from JA Okinawa's "Izena Sugar Factory" flowed into the sea, turning the sea black. It means that it was reached.



This includes sea lettuce farms set up on the coast, and the surrounding area smells sweet of molasses.



According to JA Okinawa, on the 31st of last month, the molasses in the tank of the sugar factory was mixed with water, so it was decided to dispose of it. It is believed to have flowed into the sea.
