[Explanation] As the Lantern Festival approaches, Quanzhang Village, Xinjiang County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, a thousand-year-old village, is very lively. The community fire performances attract surrounding villagers to watch, and cheers and applause continue to ring out.

Accompanied by the sound of gongs and drums, the "long dragon" of about 18 meters came into everyone's sight under the waves of the villagers.

The "giant dragon" followed the red orb to take off and jump. For a while, the dragon's head was raised high as if it was flying into the clouds, for a while it was flying in the air, and for a while it was winding and circling. The exquisite performance earned a lot of applause.

Dragon dance is particularly exhausting and must be young people.

There must be five people at the head of the dragon, five people at the tail of the dragon, and three or four people in the middle (each section).

Once running away, a person can hold on for at most three to five minutes before he has to change.

Only forty or fifty, fifty or sixty people are needed, and a little more is better.

[Explanation] This "dragon" has been passed down from generation to generation in Quanzhang Village. For more than a hundred years, six generations of the village have danced a "dragon" together. They have a lot of affection for the "dragon".

Today, young people in the village also spontaneously set up a dragon dance team.

The folk custom of dragon dance has been passed down from generation to generation here.

I have been learning dragon dance since the 1970s (last century). People of our age in our village love it. When I was young, I learned it from the older generation and passed it on.

There are six or seven people under the age of 20 who are also fond of this cultural activity now.

[Explanation] More than 30 performers rode "horses", and with the cooperation of national wind and percussion instruments, they galloped and jumped from slow to fast.

The traditional folk activity "Running Bamboo Horse" popular in Shanxi has a warm atmosphere.

"Running Bamboo Horse" is a traditional folk dance in Shanxi for self-entertainment. Its content is based on the story of the Jurchen (Jin Wushu) riding a horse and traveling in spring. It has a history of 1,000 years.

When I listen to music, I feel very energetic, and my whole body is full of energy.

I am also a "horse" leader, and I take the running field behind.

You must also pay attention to the size of the running field, and the size of the field must also be mastered.

[Explanation] At the scene, there were more than 30 folk performances, such as walking on stilts, twisting yangko, rowing dry boats, and wrestling with two ghosts, bringing joy to the villagers.

According to records, Quanzhang Village has a history of more than 2,700 years.

It has a profound historical and cultural background and has many cultural relics and historic sites.

The historical pattern and traditional style of the village are preserved here, and it was selected into the fourth batch of Chinese traditional villages in 2016.
