The press conference on the Hu Mouyu incident was held at 10 am on February 2 in Qianshan County, Jiangxi Province.

At the press conference, Hu Mansong, member of the Party Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department, deputy director, and leader of the steering group of the Provincial Public Security Department, introduced that after the incident, we organized forces to delineate 589 acres of wild public forest areas around the school and conducted detailed searches. ; For areas outside the school that involve units and residential areas, we have adopted a combination of visits and investigations to search, and mobilized units and residents to conduct their own investigations. The location of the grain depot where the corpse was found is adjacent to the 589-acre wild public mountain forest area, 226 meters straight-line distance from Hu Mouyu's dormitory at Zhiyuan Middle School, and a walking distance of about 400 meters.

　　The grain depot covers an area of ​​92 acres, and the wall is about 5 meters high. The main internal area is equipped with video surveillance. There are 24-hour guards at the door and guard dogs. The area was densely vegetated and no abnormalities were found, so they did not continue the search. , but requires the unit to continue to carry out self-inspection work, and report any abnormalities in a timely manner.
