It is Jaafar Jackson who will interpret the role of Michael Jackson in the biopic

The actor is none other than the son of Jermaine Jackson, the King of Pop's older brother.

Jaafar Jackson posted on Instagram a first photo of the rehearsals of this film directed by Antoine Fuqua.

“I am touched and honored to bring my Uncle Michael's story to life.

In the footsteps of his uncle

After wanting to be a professional golfer, Jaafar Jackson turned to music.

Antoine Fuqua found it “incredibly exciting to see Jaafar bring Michael to life.

The director added that "there was such a spiritual connection" when he first met the 26-year-old artist who "has a natural ability to impersonate Michael and such great chemistry with the camera."

This biopic, validated by the family of Michael Jackson, promises to "explore all aspects" of the "complex life" of the King of Pop, from his beginnings with the Jackson Five until his death in 2009, without excluding the numerous child crime charges.
