Last year, a match ball that was not used in the official Chunichi professional baseball game held in Nagoya City was exhibited on an Internet auction site. I sent the documents to the public prosecutor on suspicion of theft because I took it out.

In June of last year, fans and team officials found an unused match ball from the Chunichi official match held at "Bantelin Dome Nagoya" on an internet auction site.

The match ball, which shows the team's initials and date stamped on the match card, was put in an unopened bag and could only be obtained by a limited number of people, such as the referee. I had filed a damage report.

When the police proceeded with the investigation, including interviewing related parties, it was found that a referee in his 50s had taken out the game ball, and the documents were sent to the public prosecutor on suspicion of theft.

It is believed that the match ball was put up for sale on a flea market under the referee's family name and then resold on an auction site.
