In Shizuoka Prefecture, in September last year, in response to an incident in which a 3-year-old girl died after being left behind in a school bus, the government announced that from April this year, a total of about 4 shuttle buses such as kindergartens and nursery schools nationwide. We have decided to oblige the installation of safety devices on 4,000 vehicles, and have been considering how much the government will subsidize the installation cost.



At a meeting of executives from related ministries, including the Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, held on the 27th, the government announced that if a shuttle bus is equipped with a safety device that meets the guidelines of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, it will cost 175,000 yen per bus. decided to subsidize the upper limit of



Regarding safety devices that have already been installed, we will retroactively subsidize those installed after September 5 last year when the Shizuoka incident occurred.
