A fake neurologist takes the life of a child in Algeria

An Algerian woman caused the death of a 6-year-old child with special needs, after she claimed that she was a doctor specializing in the treatment of brain and nerve diseases, but that she did not possess any certificate authorizing her to practice the profession, according to the Algerian authorities.

And the Algerian police stated that it "put an end to the activity of a fake doctor who established a fake clinic specializing in the treatment of brain and nerve diseases, after recording the death of a child in mysterious circumstances."

Through the investigation, it was found that the child underwent a treatment session on January 20, at the suspect’s home, before his death, who made him a clinic to practice her illegal activity after claiming to be a doctor specializing in the treatment of brain and nerve diseases, according to the Ain El-Defla police statement.

The statement stated that the accused promoted her activity through a special Facebook account in the name of her clinic, in which she presented her specialization and method of treatment, communicated through it with customers, and set appointments.

The police confirmed that the woman does not possess any educational qualification or certificate that authorizes her to practice the medical profession.
