The gongs and drums in the theater were clanging, and the special performance of "Da Zhanhong "Rabbit" Welcomes the New Year" officially opened the prelude to the performance of "Flying Cantonese Rhythm-Famous Weekend Stage" to benefit the people.
"Famous Artists Weekend Stage" is a large-scale benefit event sponsored by Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism and undertaken by Guangzhou Cantonese Theater.
In the new year and new atmosphere, the "Famous Artists Weekend Stage" Huimin performance will be launched again during the Spring Festival in 2023, and it will be renamed "Cantonese Rhyme Flying-Famous Artists Weekend Stage" Huimin performance.
The event takes the new site of Guangzhou Cantonese Theater as the performance base.

"Da Zhanhong "Rabbit" Welcomes the New Year" is a series of special performances with the theme of congratulating the New Year. There are three performances from January 27 (the sixth day of the first month) to January 29 (the eighth day of the first month).
The three events brought together famous Cantonese opera artists such as Ou Kaiming, Li Junsheng, Chen Yunhong, Wu Feifei, etc., and the Guangzhou Cantonese Theater, Guangdong Music and Arts Troupe, Guangdong Puppet Art Theater, Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theater and other art troupes jointly performed.
The first performance of "Big Zhanhong "Rabbit" Welcomes the New Year" gathered famous artists and rookies, and the classic masterpieces gave the audience a feast of art.
The special performance is led by Li Junsheng and Chen Yunhong. Li Jiayi, a national first-class actor, together with Li Weicong, Chen Zhenjiang, Chen Jianchao, Mo Yanyun, Chen Yunling, Wang Suzhen and many other outstanding young actors who are excellent in singing and acting, perform with the actors of Guangzhou Cantonese Theater .
