Soccer world champion Gerard Piqué has appeared on social media for the first time with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.
On Thursday night he shared a selfie on Instagram showing him with the 23-year-old.
The former FC Barcelona professional, who has ended his active career, had previously been with pop star Shakira for twelve years, and in June both announced their separation.
The two have two sons together.
Shakira, 45, processed the breakup musically and also attacked Piqué's new partner.
The song "BZRP Music Session #53" released two weeks ago reads: "Good luck with my supposed replacement.
You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, a Rolex for a Casio watch.” Following Piqué's recent selfie post, Shakira shared scenes from the video.
The 35-year-old ex-soccer player drove up to an appointment in a Renault Twingo in response to the song, wore a Casio watch in an internet live stream, gave away other watches and commented on it with the words: “These watches last Lifelong."
