According to comprehensive analysis by Sichuan earthquake experts, the earthquake was an aftershock of the "9.5" Luding earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8.

No casualties or house collapses have been found so far.

  The China Seismic Network determined that the epicenter of the earthquake was located near Moxi Town, Luding County (29.63 degrees north latitude, 102.01 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 11 kilometers.

The quake was clearly felt in downtown Chengdu, and it was felt in Ganzi, Aba, Liangshan, Ya'an, Leshan, Meishan and other places.

  According to the monitoring of China Seismic Network, there were many aftershocks of this earthquake.

As of 7:30 on the 26th, a total of 7 aftershocks of magnitude 3.0 and above were recorded, including 3 earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 to 4.9, and the largest aftershock of magnitude 4.5.

  After the earthquake, the Sichuan Seismological Bureau organized experts to conduct emergency consultations with the China Earthquake Network Center.

According to the comprehensive analysis of earthquake experts, the epicenter of the earthquake was located near the Moxi fault in the southeastern section of the Xianshuihe fault zone. It was an aftershock of the "9.5" Luding earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8.

Some sections of the road leading to Detuo Town and Hailuogou Scenic Spot have fallen rocks or collapsed.

  According to the news from the Sichuan Forest Fire Brigade, after the earthquake, the Ganzi detachment of the corps quickly assembled its forces and rushed to the quake zone.

When passing through Luding to Detuo Town Expressway at the head of the Niubeishan Bridge, the road ahead collapsed in a small area, allowing small cars to pass.

At the Kuiwu Bridge in Dewei Town, Provincial Highway 217, the road was interrupted due to a mountain collapse.

  According to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Emergency Management, after preliminary investigation, Detuo Township, Dewei Township, Lengqi Township, Xinglong Township in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, and Xinmin Township, Caoke Township, and Wanggangping Township in Shimian County, Ya'an City were affected by the earthquake. No casualties or house collapses have been found yet.
