On KBS 1TV's 'Human Theater', which will be broadcast for 5 days from the 30th, Jung Mi-ae's current situation will be introduced.

Jung Mi-ae is a singer who gained popularity by winning the line on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot', and she is also famous as a mother of multiple children in the entertainment industry.

In December 2021, she, who was loved enough to resume her activities two weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, announced her sudden cessation of activities.

She only reported that she had a health problem through SNS, but as time went on, countless rumors and speculations spread because she did not reveal a clear reason.

A year later, Jung Mi-ae contacted the 'Human Theater' production team.

Accordingly, the production team visited the house of Jung Mi-ae, who said that she had been walled off from her world for the past year.

Her husband, Seong-Hwan Cho (42), and four children, Jae-Woon (16), In-Seong (8), Ah-Young (6), and Seung-Woo (4).

My stamina was low due to the busy schedule that I lacked even 10 pieces of my body, and my immunity was low, so I was always living with small illnesses.

In particular, the sores in the mouth did not get better for several months and tormented Jung Mi-ae.

Then one day, she hears something like a thunderstorm.

It was a diagnosis that she might not be able to speak, let alone sing.

She was in the 3rd stage of tongue cancer, and she was like an irreversible disease for the singer.

It happened when the youngest, Seung-woo, hadn't turned 11.

Jung Mi-ae had to undergo major surgery that lasted eight hours.

She then had a third of her tongue removed.

Fortunately, she was able to speak, but her aftereffects followed.

A third of her tongue was missing, and her face was disproportionately crooked, rigid at the slightest fatigue.

She had trouble swallowing, and most of all, her speech was twisted and slurred.

She has cancer, which is a common recurrence, so for the 6 months after her surgery, she had to live with anxiety and fear every day.

Her self-confidence and self-esteem as a singer soon disappeared and the door to her heart was closed.

It was her family who stood by her side like this.

Her husband, Seong-hwan Cho, whom she met during her trainee days and raised her dream of becoming a singer together, stayed by her side as she cried and laughed with her struggling wife.

In that way, Jung Mi-ae is gradually returning to her ordinary past.

I didn't want anyone to find out, so I shut myself in a small room and repeated the song to myself.

She struggled to even open her mouth at first, but she practiced making her mouth twist and stiffen.

After a year like that, Jung Mi-ae stood on stage again.

After going through her pain, her deeper heart made her songs even deeper.

Singer Jung Mi-ae, who is starting over after going through an unexpected ordeal in her life, will also release her new song through 'Human Theater'.
