What did a nurse do with 11 infants in Saudi Arabia? An incident that sparked widespread anger

An incident documented by surveillance cameras in a Saudi hospital sparked widespread public outrage, as a nurse, whose nationality was not revealed, assaulted a group of infants.

And the Saudi Public Prosecution said in an official statement circulated by local media that “by looking at the surveillance cameras of the infant nursery room, it was found that the aforementioned exercised her work with great force and violence on one of the infants,” confirming that she had decided to imprison her for a period of 5 years.

Al-Arabiya channel quoted the prosecution's statement as saying, "The nurse was spotted assaulting his face 3 times, bypassing job responsibilities and health tasks by committing a felony against newborn children who have no will and dispossess it."

And the prosecution continued, "The investigation procedures revealed that the aforementioned had repeatedly committed the criminal acts against 11 infants, justifying that by claiming work pressures."
