Filming for the biopic about the life and career of Amy Winehouse began on January 17 in London, UK.

The feature film, signed by the British Sam Taylor-Johnson, entitled "Back to Black" in reference to his hit, is already the subject of criticism.

The filming of the biopic has just started in London, on January 17, and the critics are already raining.

The actress chosen to play the singer with the hoarse voice and the legendary black sauerkraut is called Marisa Abela.

The actress of series would not look like the singer at all and the costumes would be similar to Halloween costumes, some say.

The singer's father defends the biopic

The first defender of the project is the father of Amy Winehouse herself.

Mitchell Winehouse manages his daughter's estate and advises the production of the film.

He wants a feature film in the line of biopics like

Bohemian Rhapsody

or

Rocket Man

, two big hits at the global box office, bringing in several hundred million euros and winning awards.
